Description	Photograph of the northeast corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Fourth Street, looking north on Fourth Street, ca.1890. The street is lined with broad sidewalks and tall trees; several small saplings are growing along the edge of the street as well. There is only one house visible, a two story building with several chimneys and shutters on its large windows. Behind a hedge, a man sits in a chair with his legs crossed, looking at the camera. There are several trees, as well as a recently mowed lawn, in his yard. The spire of a church can be seen in the background on the left side. Later the site of the Security Trust and Savings Bank.
