Description	Photograph of aerial view of unidentified flooded area, showing damaged buildings and roadways, 1938. At center, a wide river can be seen extending from teh bottom of the image to the top. Large patches of dried mud can be seen near the bottom of the image and surrounding the banks of the river. Near the bottom-right portion of the image, mud and flooding appears to have destroyed several roads and buildings. Similar road damage can be seen to the left. Near the top of the image, a large section of mud and water can be seen extending to the left. Several buildings and roadways are noticeably damaged. Further to the left and right, large city blocks can be seen. Photoprint reads: "This photograph is loaned to you. Please return to: Illustrator. L.A. City Planning Dept. Rm.361 F City Hall, Los Angeles, California".
