At center, a wide river can be seen extending from the bottom of the image to the top. To the right of the river, a large freeway can be seen running adjacent to several city blocks. To the left of the river, additional city blocks are visible. To the far left, a series of large trees and vegetation can be seen on an elevated hill. A large shadow cast by the group of trees obscures part of the city. Photoprint reads: "This photograph is loaned to you. Please return to: Illustrator. L.A. City Planning Dept.
