Description	Photograph of a street in Old Chinatown, ca.1898. Only the right side of the unpaved street is visible, and it is bordered by a row of buildings. The closest building is two story and made of brick; the sidewalk in front of the lower floor is covered by an overhand, and there are three balconies on the top floor, each covered by its own awning. There is a group of pedestrians in front of this building, and across the street from them is a single horse and carriage. There is a flag on a pole on top of one of the buildings lining the street, and on a hill in the background, there is a large building with a tall brick tower.
