Description	Photograph of a view of Haystack Rock and Castle Rock in Santa Monica looking southeast, ca.1912. The two rocks are at center; Haystack rock is further to the right and is closer to the ocean, which borders the beach at right. The large rock is rectangular in shape. Castle rock sticks up from a ridge at center and is conical. At left is the unpaved Pacific Coast Highway, which is bordered on one stretch by a low wooden fence. Running parallel to the road at left is a mountain range. A lighthouse and shorter building are visible along the coast in the distance. The Thomas Ince Studio (Inceville) was located along this same stretch of coast (north?) of this view.
