The Federal building is in the foreground at left and is a Romanesque building with a light-colored lower structure and dark upper structure decorated with columns. Several street lamps run alongside both edges of a sidewalk in the foreground. Many people can be seen walking along the sidewalk, and several early-model automobiles are parked nearby. City Hall is a tall building in the background. It is light in color and has a large tower topped by a tapered structure. City Hall was built in 1928.
