Description	Photograph of a view of the Southern Pacific slip at San Pedro Harbor, showing a steam locamotive and oil derrick at left, ca.1900. The long dock of the harbor is pictured in the foreground, a small steam engine making its way along at left. Lumber can be seen strewn on the dock in various places, and a dense collection of docked schooners can be seen farther right. Back at left, an oil derrick is visible, just above a sign advertising for the Wizard Oil Company. Below the dock, a man can be seen traversing a second set of railroad tracks that are situated on the sandy shore. Dead Man's Island can be seen in the left distance.
