Description	Photograph of the Fuller Building (Flatiron Building) and Madison Square, New York City, [s.d.]. People walk along the wide path on the right while benches line the left side. Beyond the benches is a dead field in Madison Square where bare trees stand. The square continues from the foreground to the city chaos in the background. The Fuller Building, a tall, long building which is abnormally thin, stands at center amongst the cluster of large, unique buildings which decorate the city. Caption reads "The Fuller Building stands at the intersection of Broadway and Fifth Avenue and, owing to its peculiar triangular shape is known as the "Flatiron" Building. Seen from Fifth Avenue on this picture, the building resembles the prow of a gigantic ship under way and is very impressive. This building has a curious effect of increasing the violence of the wind at its apex so that during a storm people are sometimes whirled off the sidewalk and plate glass windows are shattered".
