In the extreme foreground at center, a wide river can be seen extending into the background. Large pine trees can be seen along the banks of the river on all sides. To the right of the river, a pile of dead branches can be seen near one of the trees. The pine tree visible at right extends to the top of the image. In the extreme background at center, the Half Dome rock formation is visible with a single rounded peak. Several trees can also be seen dotting the mountain range.
