Beyond the large shrubs, mounds of desert sand can be seen from the far left to the far right. Large waves of sand are especially visible in the background at center. In the extreme background to the left, a mountain range is visible extending from the right to the far left. Caption at the bottom of the image reads: "Sand Dunes Near Stovepipe Wells, Death Valley".
