Description	Photograph of an interior view of the May Company Department Store, looking east toward the Broadway entrance, March 1, 1942. The store is crowded with many shoppers, most of which are women. The women wear coats of varying designs, and many wear hats. A headless and armless mannequin wearing a sleeveless dress can be seen amongst the shoppers toward the left. Glass doors can be seen in the background, above which reads, "Broadway". Pillars and two other mannequins are visible in the right background. A sign visible through the doors on the other side of the road reads, "Rialto. Betty Grab[el], Victo[r] Ma[ture], Dorothy La[mour], Wil[li]am [Holden]".
