Description	Photograph of women sitting on the porch of General Longstreet's home at Palm Avenue and West Adams Boulevard, ca.1895/1900. At center, two young girls and two women sit on the steps to the porch of the large mansion, whle two other women can be seen in chairs on the porch behind them. The home, whose column at lef tis overgrown with vines, was built circa 1884. The area later became Singleton Court and then Orthopedic Hospital.
