Photograph of a view of burnt ruins at West Point, October 19, 1933. An automobile is parked outside of Odd Fellows Hall on the right. The tall, wooden building is intact along with the several other buildings covered by trees on the right side of the road. The left side, however, is lined with leafless trees. The brick buildings are damaged, incomplete and discolored. Several other automobiles can be seen parked along the sides of the road which leads into trees in the distance. "On left are ruins of buildings destroyed by fire on October 11, 1983. This view was taken eight days later while the ruins were still smoking".
