Photograph of a lithograph of the Baker Block on the corner of Main Street and Arcadia Street in Los Angeles, 1880-1889. The three-story building is at center and its façade is facing slightly to the right. It is a large rectangular building with short towers on the corners and massive domed tower at center. There are flags on both of the corner towers. The building is Victorian style, with large arched windows on all three levels. There are several pedestrians near the entrances to the building, as well as in the street in the foreground. Three horsemen, a horse-drawn wagon, and a horse-drawn streetcar are also visible in the streets. The lithograph was from Thompson and West's History of Los Angeles County, published in 1880.
