Exterior view of the Pacific Finance Building (Heron Building) being built northwest of the intersection of Olive Street and Sixth Street, August 30, 1925
Photograph of an exterior view of the Pacific Finance Building (Heron Building) being built northwest of the intersection of Olive Street and Sixth Street, August 30, 1925. The tall building is at center and has two towers, each ten stories high. Only the frames of the towers have been constructed, but the stone base of the building is in place. There is a small adobe building with a terracotta tile roof in the foreground at left, and three early-model automobiles are parked in front. A wooden façade around the base of the Pacific Finance Building advertises the construction company.; Legible signs include, from left to right, "Cigars", "For Space Appt. Lemuel Freer", "Limit Height Class A Office Building with Double Basement Garage for Tenants", and "New Pacific Finance Building First Floor will be occupied by Pacific Finance".
