Description	Photograph of an exterior view of the Moreland Notre Dame Academy in Watsonville, ca.1900. Almost thirty women stand in dresses behind the short, lightly-colored, wooden fence across the foreground. They stand in a grassy yard which is divided by paved pathways and decorated with various trees. The tall, lightly-colored academy stands behind them with the entrance at the top of a tall staircase at center. A tall steeple-like tower stands above the entrance with a cross at its tip. Another tall staircase leads to an alternative entrance which protrudes from the right side of the building. Palm trees stand in large groups on either side of the academy.
