Title	Roof beams of one of Mission San Fernando's shops, looking south from the church bell towers, ca.1898
Description	Photograph of the roof beams of one of Mission San Fernando's shops, looking south from the church bell towers, ca.1898. The roof is shown, its wooden framework not yet complete, although some unfinished thatching can be seen to the left. A wooden two-by-four cuts across the width of the image, while a formation of wood blocks makes the formation of an "I" on top of it. What appears to be the main support beam for the peak of the roof can be seen sitting on top of this. The adobe walls of the building can be seen below, their spackle chipped away, which suggests that the roof is a replacement, not an original.
