Photographic portrait of Dr. Edmond M. Lazard, [s.d.]. The doctor can be seen from his head to his upper torso and is wearing a gray suit and vest, as well as a light-colored shirt and dark tie. His shoulders are turned to the left and his head is facing straight ahead. He has a graying moustache and goatee, and is mostly bald. His remaining hair is gray. He has a pair of rimless circular glasses. His wife was a member of the Sewing Circle in the late 1890's. This group became affiliated with another to become the Jewish Mothers Alliance, which later became the Julia Ann Singer Day Nursery. This organization later became the Julia Ann Singer Preschool Psychiatric Center. In 1982, the center was on Alden Drive, part of Cedars Sinai. In 1983 it moved to the grounds of Vista Del Mar.
