A hodge-podge three-story tower stands at the center of the image, vaguely Victorian in style, yet decorated with maritime porthole windows towards the peak. A wraparound balcony skirts the second story, while a windowed chamber is visible at the very top, suggesting what might possibly be a lighthouse light. A small bell and other equipment can be seen stationed on the ground below. Streetcar tracks can be seen to the right.
