A large group of the men, women and children of the fruit grower's society are dressed in formal clothing and gathered on a large circular patch of grass which is surrounded by a paved traffic loop. Trees are visible in the background behind them. To the right, several children sit around a small palm tree, apparently bored. The top of a similar tree is visible above the crowd at left.
