Description	Photograph of a painting by Einar Corsten Petersen, depicting an Indian council judging a group member, ca.1900-1910. A group of Native Americans, both young and elderly alike, gather around the front of their teepees making facial expressions of grievance. One of their tribesmen sits alone in the left foreground facing them while they gesture towards the horizon. Picture file card identifies the artist as Petersen, but the style differs from other Petersen images shown and, unlike them, is not signed.
