Description	Photograph of a sketch of the front exterior view of Mission San Diego Alcala, by Cave Couts, ca.1846. Three large arched doorways allow entrance into the church. Above it is a multicurved parapet with an arched window. On the left corner of the church is a multi-tiered bell tower. To the right of the entrance is a long arcade. Two horsemen are galloping close to the shack (or outhouse?) in front of the mission. "Mission as sketched by Cave Couts, ca.1850. Probably copied from Powell sketch, from Fabricas" -- unknown author.
