Photograph of the Tallyho Stables on the northwest corner of First Street and Broadway, Los Angeles, ca.1886-1893. This location was where the Board of Trade and the California Club met, and where the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce began meetings in 1888. Taken looking northwest from the Nadeau Hotel. There are a few horse-drawn vehicles on the street which rounds a corner as it proceeds up the hill on top of which are situated 3 large houses. A few other commercial buildings are visible. Legible signs include: "Harness and sadlery", "Ba[...]rk's Livery Feed Sale Stable".
