Photograph of a richly carved door of a mission in Arizona or Texas, ca.1900. The wooden double door has intricate square and L-shaped patterns. There are many curved (leaf-like) carvings inside of these patterns. The door is under an archway with some of the same curved patterns on the door. The archway also has a pillar on each side. Above the archway, the same sculpted designs extend upward on the surrounding wall. The mortar between the carved stones of the arch and pillars has crumbled allowing some of the blocks to slip out of alignment.
