Description	Photograph of La Fiesta Tribune Queen, Francisca Alexander, receiving the parade on the Hill Street side of the park, Los Angeles, ca.1897. Miss Alexander sits on a throne at the top of a collection of steps, to either side of which flower girls in lightly-colored dresses holding baskets, with two more similarly dressed girls at center, one of which sits in a throne of her own, which is decorated in flowers. Attendants stand on the top platform on either side of Miss Alexander, dressed in Victorian style, with wigs and cravats. Onlookers stand behind a seated line of what appear to be helmeted riflemen who are themselves seated to the outside of the flower girls. A bouquet of flowers can be seen in the lower right corner.
