Description	Photograph of banyan tree whose branches come to the ground and root, Honolulu, Hawaii, ca.1920. The large tree can be seen at center, and its dense branches block out the sun. Several of the branches have grown into the ground in the foreground. Wooden benches are built around two of the rooting branches. A bicycle stands against one. More benches can be seen on the perimeter of a clearing to the right.
