The walls are covered with a textured wallpaper. The ceiling is covered with tin or plaster panels. A round ribbed cornice runs around the perimeter of the room. A metal pipe light fixture in the shape of a horizontal "X" hangs down from the ceiling. A fireplace with a granite or marble surround is inset in a small alcove in one wall of the room. The doorway to an adjoining corridor is at center.
