Description	Photograph looking east on the Colorado River at the rapids above Bass's Ferry, Grand Canyon, ca.1900-1930. The rough waters are shaped by rocks just below the surface. The river is hemmed in by the steep rocky canyon walls on both sides, forming a "V". The sun shines on a massive rock formation shaped by erosion rising up out of the canyon in the distance.
