Description	Photograph of a painting by Vischer of a view of the ruins of the church and buildings of Mission San Juan Capistrano, May 9, 1865. The church, at right, is connected to a campanario containing four bells and a low long building with a facade of arches at left. Another low building at left has a thatched roof. In the foreground are a horse-drawn coach, two men on horseback, and a cow. The church was destroyed by the earthquake of 1811.
