Photograph of Bridal Veil Falls, Cataract Canyon, Havasu, Arizona, ca.1900-1940. The falls spill out over a rocky ledge in narrow ribbons flowing towards a river below where a few jagged rocks juts from the surface of the river. Rocky walls of the canyon can be seen in the background. Many shrubs and trees grow at the top of the canyon.; "Bridal Veil is about one hundred and seventy feet high, and five hundred feet broad, but this space is not entirely covered with water. The edge is so broken that the water dashes over the precipice in a large number of stream and falling upon several different ledges, is again broken into a dashing spray, which, light and feathery, again leaps into the air. The general effect is indescribably beautiful." -- unknown author.
