Photograph of the Big Bar Placer Mine, Trinity, 1906 (ca.1930?). The features that resemble large tubes for the hydraulic mining operation can be seen center in the foreground and extending through a rock tunnel and out to the distant woods to the left. Another extension of this piping leads out to a rock hill in center where a man wearing a long jacket and hat observes while resting his hands in his pockets. The area, surrounded by woods, is cluttered with debris such as more pieces of piping and piles of mowed trees.
