Captain Fitch is pictured from his upper torso to his head and is looking at the camera with his body turned to the right. He is wearing a dark jacket, light shirt and light tie. He has thick dark hair and sideburns. Fitch married Josepha Carrillo in the first elopement in California. On their return from South America, he was assessed a bell for the old Plaza Church.
