The beach is at center in the distance and is a long, sandy strip of land bordered by steep rocky cliffs at left. A long wooden pier juts into the water at center. The buildings of the resort town are faintly visible behind the beach. There are small waves gently breaking on the shore in the foreground, and several mountains are visible in the distance. Photoprint reads: "The resort town of a great beach. The splendid beach, good roads and excellent hotel have made it a favorite spot for automobile meets".
