Description	Photograph of the interior lobby at the Garret Corporation's AiReasearch Aviation Service Division, Los Angeles International Airport, ca.1961. Behind a low brick wall strewn with indoor plants is a line of cushioned chairs in front of a series of large glass windows. Through them, one can see out of the lobby. Outside, to the right, stands an airplane facing forward. To its left is another aircraft in mid-air, having just taken off. Below the craft is a checkered structure. Part of another plane can be vaguely made out in the distance behind the leftmost window side of the lobby.; Photoprint reads: "'Open-air' view of surrounding activity is offered from inside the new lobby at the Garret Corporation's AiReasearch Aviation Service Division, Los Angeles International Airport. At the same time, the three-sided glass enclosure protects visitors from elements of the weather. AiResearch Aviation Service is the only C.A.A. approved facility at L.A. International Airport for the service, repair, overhaul, and modification of private and business aircraft".
