Description	Photograph of color painting of a sailing ship on sea, showing seagulls in foreground, ca.1700. At center, a large open-sail ship is seen moving through the ocean. Two white lifeboats are seen hanging near the hull of the ship on the starboard side. Two masts are visible near the center of the ship, and an angled mast is seen extending from the bow. Each sail appears to hold three main sails and several side sails. Four triangular sails can be seen extending from the mast at the front. A small crow's nest with a small blue flag is visible atop the frontal mast. In the background, a two seagulls are barely visible above the multicolored water. In the foreground to the right, two seagulls are shown in flight. The sky is colored with yellow, blue, and swipes of purple.
