Description	Photograph of a swimmer leaping off a diving tower in Exposition Park in front of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, ca.1932. The female diver takes center, donning a light-colored swim cap and leaping off the second of a four-story diving structure. She dives with her hands spread wide, feet close together. Behind her is a diving tower that has two parallel diving boards at its base, a large diving platform at its second level, another on a third level to the right, and still another on a fourth higher level. Two people make their way up to the fourth level from a stair on the left of the second level. The pool water lies below. To the right of the pool is a grandstand, while behind the dive tower is a fenced area where several spectators stand. Behind the pool, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum can be seen, a large rounded concrete structure lined with stadium lamps.
