A statue of a mostly naked man holding a trident can be seen in the foreground at center. Behind the statue, the large Romanesque building is visible. Tall cylindrical columns can be seen along the length of the library. A group of men is standing on a set of wide concrete steps at center. A fountain can be seen in the background at right, while the branch of a large oak tree is visible overhead in the foreground.; Image reads: "Not only does the Librery building house thousands of rare volumes and manuscripts, but also an excellent array of historic portraits and the Arabella D. Huntington Memorial Art Collection, which is made up cheifly of Italian and Flemish paintings, French porcelains and furniture".
