Description	Photograph of an exterior view of the last remaining adobe house in Ventura in 1894. A single adobe ranch house is shown at center, a shingled roof extending from its terra cotta tiled peak and creating an awning over the porch, on which residents can be seen. A single window is visible shuttered to the right side, while a wooden annex can be seen in back. In the left background, a wood-framed home can be seen, the only one of its kind in the 1860's. Professor Peckham visited in 1865.
