Description	Photograph of San Francisco earthquake damage, showing the old and new buildings of the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper, 1906. A crowd of people in dark clothes observe the damage from the street in the foreground where piles of debris lie at their feet. Most of the windows of the tall San Francisco Chronicle building have busted out and the roof appears to have caved. The building behind it on the right appears to have fallen completely. Two more tall buildings still stand in tact further down the street on the far right.
