Dear Qharles:
Mr, Thorsen has written me abcut the h
pipes in"hie becoming stopped up, and is trying
cut hew he can replace them. He has
blue prints of the plans of the house. I
the tracings and sent him the file ccpy.
have locked it up and find that I sent 3

them go out but he needed them at
Ee has written me again asking for another set.
have some made up there and send to"him seen? He wants
the four fleer plans only, Foundation, First, Second and
Attic floor.plans. If ycu cannot attend to it there please
send the tracings down to me so I can attend to it for him.
He particularly asked to have the direction cf the .joists
indicated on the plans so that they cculd plan out the work,
I can get blueprints made here in a half hours time.
Mr, Thorsen said he had asked your opinion and
you had recomrneded copper pipe if he replaced instead of
brass pipe. Authorities recommend the trass pipe as the
longest life of any metal, engineers, I mean. Some waters
effect copper, do ycu remember trouble in Santa Barbara?
At Catalina Island brass is effected eir water
disintegrates.it, Mr, T. said they repaired a lire in
hot water line and discovered that it was nearly stopped
up .
1 hope ycu are all as usual. We are as usual.
I am not very busy with new work but have a lot of running
around tc do for the work I have on hand so I never seem to
get a spare moment to myself.
ing you "'ill att
