Dear Mr.Sche#nfeld:-
The enclosed tracing
of Living room mantel shows size of all
blocks of marble which is to be of Colorado Uhle or something soft and white that
will stain a creamy browny tone. I think
I would like the Colorado marble if you
can get it. The tracing of lavatory in
bath room I should like of same marble
as last sample you submitted to me for
sills,Vermont I think,but please let me
know. Thie last should beas uniform as
possible in this kind of marble,because
we may want to polish it.The mantel you
may go right ahead with,if you can find
marble without veining.Get all the blocks
roughly to size and I will send full size
detail or come to San Francisco myself.
The lavatory must wait till I hear from
Mrs. James ,which may be any day.
