Due north is 90 degrees to the left. Principal features: municipalities, roads, road names, mileages, natural features (especially canyons). Other prominent canyons: Ice House, San Antonio, Live Oak Creek, East Fork San Dimas, West Fork San Dimas, Big Dalton, Little Dalton, San Gabriel, Fish, Monrovia, Sierra Madre, Millard, Verdugo, Haynes, Pacoima, Placerita, Pico, Wiley. Printed at top right is "498" and "Brown". Printed at bottom, outside of map itself, is "96", "1123" and "'Help prevent fires' -- it pays".
