Description	by Gerard and Leonard. America Aurea Pars Altera Mundi. [Amsterdam], G. & L. Valck, ca. 1714. Large engraved map (49 x 59.5 cm) of North and South America, with the title in a cartouche surrounded by native figures, animals, produce and wares. California appears as an island. Coloured by a contemporary hand. From the extremely rare 1714 edition of Valck's Nova Totius Geographica Telluris Projecto (cf. Koeman Val 1: ca. 1702 ed. without this map)
