Title	Doheny Library, second floor, 1932
Description	Photograph of a room in the north west corner of the second floor of Doheny Memorial Library, 1932, by Julius L. Padilla. This room was later used as the periodicals reading room, the Intellectual Commons, and for other functions.; Padilla was a commercial photographer in Los Angeles operating under the name Padilla Studios. Estelle Doheny commissioned him to take this and other "portraits" of the interior and exterior of Doheny Library prior to the official occupation of the building.
