For the crime of being a Christian, Rev. Pyung-Hun was thrown into a filthy prison with eighteen condemned criminals. During the five months of his imprisonment, he converted all of his cellmates. Rev. Son Chun Do, first missionary sent by the Korean church to Manchuria. He endured banishment and persecution, suffering almost unto death. Rev. Kim U. Shoon, evangelist of the Korean Methodist Church. After studying in Korean mission schools, he furthered his training in Hawaii and California.
