Title	Rev. Kim Chang-Sik, Korea, [s.d.]
Description	Rev. Sik is Nestor of the Korean Ministry, first to be ordained. As a Korean patriot, he sought employment as a cook in a missionary home to the purpose of expecting to see the hypocrisy of the Christians and then expose them. What Rev. Sik saw of the family life changed his opinion and he became a believer, and helped to establish missionary work in Pyeng Yang. Rev. Sik was bitterly persecuted and finally arrested, charged with being a Christian. The Governor had him brutally beaten and thrown into a death cell. He was released at the appeal of representatives of American, Great Britain and Japan. Upon his liberation, a mob tried to stone him to death. Rev. Sik is now a District Superintendent in North Korea, and is a splendid evangelist. His full story is told in W. Arthur Noble's book, "Ewa, A Tale Of Korea".
