'Walter Reuther and I have a psychological understanding that will keep our controversy running', said Arizona Senator barry Goldwater today (12/4) upon his arrival at Los Angeles International Airport via Mexicana-Pan American Clipper from Mexico's inaugural ceremonies of President Adolfo Lopez Mateos. He made this cryptic comment to newsmen at the airport who querried their association. Goldwater is Senate minority leader on the labor legislative committee. The Senator, accompanied by his wife Margaret said, 'During my four days there as a guest of Mexico we met with President Mateos and were highly impressed by him personally as well with his sincere inaugural speech to further relations between the U.S. and Mexico. He didn't launch into campaign promises, but did place emphasis on strengthening Mexico's economy as well as increasing educational facilities for the masses.
