The Recovery Foundation of Los Angeles was the recipient of $6,500 donated by the general public to aid the Foundation's work in behalf of emotionally disturbed children. Presentation of the money was made Saturday night at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel during a meeting attended by more than 500 members and friends of the group. Kermit Claster, vice president of Ohrbach's Inc., and president of the Foundation, accepted the contribution from Mrs. Billie Wolfson, Chairman of the Fund Raising Committee. A non-profit corporation, The Recovery Foundation was established two years ago to provide psychiatric therapy for children and families with emotional disturbance. Professional people and community leaders have supported the program, recognizing the urgent need concerning the Nation's mental health problems.
