(Arrival in Hawaii). Jackie Akeo; Mae Beimes. (Hula girls) meeting boys.; Supplemental material reads: "Examiner carriers Raul Olivas left and Chris Vitone are welcomed on their arrival in Hawaii by hula girls Jackie Akeo, left, and Mea Beimes. These two young fellows were winners of the recent Junior V.I.P. contest sponsored by the American Weekly, The Los Angeles Examiner and Hecht, Hill and Lancaster. They will headquarter at the U.S. Sub Mase in Pearl Harbor and enjoy a four day Polynesian Holiday in the Islands. Raul is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Angelo Olivas and Chris is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Antony Vitone".
