Eight members of the amateur Hawaiian swim team headed by coach Soichi Sakamoto arrived here from Honolulu via Pan American Airways today (7/26) to compete against American sim teams in four cities in the U.S. including Los Angeles at the Coliseum Aug. 21 through 22 for the men's and women's NationalA.A.U. senior championship. They are: Back row (left to right): Fritzz Myers [sic], 22; George Onekea, 19; Roy Tanabe, 18; Eddie Townsend, 14; and front row (left to right): Lanakila Miki, 17; Faith Young, 15; and Jane Dillion, 16. Cities on their itinerary include Topeka; Indianapolis; and San Francisco. They will be in Topeka between August 1 through 3. Sakamoto said, 'they are all and coming swimmers and it will be a good meet'. The Los Angeles Examiner is sponsoring the Los Angeles meet".
